$99.5 million per SIPC-qualified account (of which $900,000 can be cash).The RBC CM execss of SIPC policy is subject to a maximum aggregate amount payable of $400 million. A major independent insurance carrier provides this additional coverage. This account protection applies when SIPC member firms fail financially and are unable to meet obligations to securities customers, but it does not protect against losses from the rise and fall in market value of investments.
