David is a former President of the Pittsburgh Stock and Bond Association and served on its Board of Directors for over a decade until 2017. In 2007, David successfully completed the rigorous FINRA Institute at Wharton Certified Regulatory and Compliance Professional™, (CRCP™) program. This is a three-year classroom and exam program through the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania is designed to train and test the knowledge of compliance, supervisory, and managerial professionals from around the Financial Services industry as well as regulatory examiners from FINRA and other state and foreign regulatory bodies.
David has also completed the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation. The Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) Designation is a professional certification that demonstrates an advisor or other person serving as an investment fiduciary has met certain requirements to earn and maintain the credential. The purpose of the AIF® Designation is to assure that those responsible for managing or advising on investor assets have a fundamental understanding of the principles of fiduciary duty, the standards of conduct for acting as a fiduciary, and a process for carrying out fiduciary responsibility.
Earlier in his career, David, co-hosted the radio show "It's Your Money" on 1410 AM KQV. The show provided commentary on investing and the opportunity for listeners to call in and have their investment questions answered.
David is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh where he earned a Bachelor of Arts. He has been helping clients with their financial needs for just under 20 years. He currently resides in the Pine Richland School District with his wife Amy and three children.
